Community guidelines

VUSIC is a place to share music and to talk about it. These guidelines apply to everything you publish: tracks, videos, podcasts, covers, captions, comments, messages, your profile and your live rooms. They are part of the Terms of Service.
1. Publish what is yours
Upload only music, video and artwork that you made or that you are allowed to distribute. Every upload is fingerprinted. A match with a registered work can be claimed by its rights holder or blocked.
Do not pretend to be another person, artist or label. Names of known artists are reserved until the artist is verified.
2. Respect people
No harassment, threats, hate against people for who they are, or calls to violence. No sharing of private information about others.
A message to somebody who does not follow you arrives as a request. One request is enough; if it is declined, do not try again from another account.
3. Keep it safe
No sexual content that involves minors, no sexual exploitation, no content that promotes self-harm, and nothing that is illegal where you publish it. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
You must be at least 13 to use VUSIC. Features that show people near you are for adults only.
4. No spam and no fake plays
Do not buy, sell or automate plays, likes, follows or comments. Plays are validated, and artificial plays are removed from the counts and from every payout.
Do not post misleading links. Ticket links are limited to verified accounts and artists to keep scam links off VUSIC.
5. Report and block
Every post, comment and profile can be reported from its menu, and every account can be blocked. A report is reviewed by a person, normally within 24 hours. Nothing is hidden automatically because of a report.
6. What we do when a rule is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we remove the content, limit uploads or suspend the account. Copyright strikes follow the copyright policy: a warning at the first strike, no uploads for 30 days at the second, and the end of the account at the third strike within 12 months.
